Straight from SOLO Restaurant in Manhattan, Chef Yoni will be rocking out JPULSE!
Chef Yoni Mandel has been cooking since he was eleven years old. Over the years, Yoni has continued to cook at home and throughout college, entertaining both friends and family with his culinary creations.
After graduating from Brandeis University in May of 2007, Yoni decided to pursue his passion in a more serious manner. He moved to NYC in October of 2007 to attend the world-renowned French Culinary Institute. After graduating Top of the Class with Distinction in April of 2008, Yoni cooked as a line chef at the grill of SOLO Restaurant in Manhattan, working directly under Executive Chef Hung Huynh, winner of Top Chef Season 3. Yoni is currently a second-year dental student at Tufts University, and works part-time as a personal chef.
