The Quest for Biltong in Boston

Biltong is a South African delicacy that most American’s would call a type of beef jerky. It is usually spiced oh so nice and goes well with a good whisky or beer. However, in Boston, although many corner stores might sell a slim jim off the shelf, finding kosher biltong has proven a great challenge.

We searched long and hard and made stops at Starbucks and the Brookline Farmers’ Market. You might be surprised to find just how savvy some of us Bostonians really are.
